A.·. L.·. G.·. D.·. G.·. A.·. D.·. U.·. .- Heraldo Masónico, June 24th, 2025. The Grand Lodge of the Republic of Venezuela was solemnly founded on June 24, 1824, in the city of Caracas. Under the direction of Q.·. H.·. Diego Bautista Urbaneja, the first Grand Master and a prominent Venezuelan jurist, the nascent Obedience initially gathered 18 active lodges, consolidating the foundations of a national Freemasonry committed to the ideals of freedom, justice, and fraternity. Following the dissolution of Gran Colombia in 1830, the Grand Lodge was refounded on September 9, 1838, again under the aegis of H.·. Urbaneja, reaffirming its sovereignty and historical continuity.
